Reiki Training
From Self Healing to Master Teacher Reiki Practitioner
At Amethyst Tiger we teach Usui Ryoho Shiki Reiki, the traditional form of Reiki. You can learn to channel this universal healing energy for your own needs, for friends and family and ultimately for the benefit of clients. All training includes the individual Reiki Attunements (which enable you to channel Reiki), full practical training, manuals and certificates. We teach Reiki either one-to-one or in small groups of up to four people.
Reiki Level I - For Self Healing - Half Day Session
After receiving the Reiki Level I Attunements, you will be taught how to channel Reiki and apply it to yourself for self-healing. We will explore when to Reiki and when not and areas of your life where you might find Reiki to be of benefit.
Reiki Level II - Practioner Level for Treating Others - Full Day Session
You will receive the Level II Reiki Attunement and learn when and how to treat other people using the correct hand positions. You will learn about distance healing and when to apply the different Reiki symbols. Prior to receipt of your Reiki II Certifiate, we will require you to undertake case studies. Learning does not stop once you leave the training room either, as we believe in supporting our Reiki practitioners after training. You must wait a minimum of 21 days after Level I, before undertaking Reiki Level II, although most people take considerably longer.
Reiki Levels III and IV Master Teacher Practitioner - Full or Two Day Session (depending on class size)
Reiki III is Reiki Mastery Level. Here you are attuned with the Reiki Master Symbol, which helps further develop both your Reiki channeling capabilities and intuition. Reiki Level IV is where you learn how to attune others to Reiki and teach Reiki yourself. We consider the practicalities of the Attunement ceremonies and all the considerations of teaching others how to channel Reiki.
Some people choose just to get the Reiki Master Attunement and don’t wish to teach. For these we are happy to give the Master Attunement only. Others want to fully explore all aspects of Reiki Mastery and we find most people choose both levels together.
We would not recommend that you undertake Reiki Mastery until at least a year after attaining Level II, so that you fully embrace Reiki and understand the practicalities of treating others. You will also need to have learnt the Reiki symbols by heart and be able to reproduce them effortlessly.
We provide training in Haslemere, Surrey but will consider on-line training upon application.

Two Day Workshop
Learn how to be more connected to your higher self, to the Earth and the natural world around you via an exploration of Shamanism. You will learn the fundamentals of shamanism for the purpose of healing, clearing and building connection. The workshop includes:

We also teach shamanism on a one to one coaching basis with regular weekly or monthly shamanic coaching sessions. The coaching will cover shamanic journeying, energetic protection techniques, how to work with elemental and celestial bodies, an introduction into plant spirit medicine and wisdom, how to work with the land and its spirits and guardians, divine masculine and feminine, past, present and future healing and stone and crystal medicine too.
All shamanic teaching is very practical. Some of the sessions will be taught outside in the environment.

One Day Workshop
Meeting with your own animal spirit guide (or power animal) and your totem animal is a profound experience. This fun, interesting workshop, will help both Tarot beginners and intermediates enhance their understanding.
You’ll achieve an in depth understanding of the Tarot Major and Minor Arcana cards, developing your ability to read the Tarot for yourself and others. We explore the literal meanings of the cards as well as those more esoteric ones. You will be encouraged to look at different ways to read the cards, ranging from using your intuition, referring to generally recognised meanings as well as exploring the more esoteric or hidden ones. In today’s increasingly unbalanced, chaotic and patriarchal world, it has become ever more important to incorporate and integrate the Divine Feminine into our lives for healing, balance and stability. Our regular Divine Feminine workshops, once again remembers the Divine Feminine, whether as The One Great Goddess or the Goddess in all her forms. We will look to favourite and forgotten goddesses and feminine ascended masters. We will see how their energies and influences can help us clear, heal and protect. Unhelpful myths, which were used to denigrate and cast aside the importance of the Divine Feminine will be called out, cleared and healed.
Not only will we re-integrate the Divine Feminine but learn to properly balance the Divine Feminine with her Divine Masculine counterparts for harmony, clarity and the way forward!
