Listen to Yourself

Our bodies are supposed to be a perfect balance of mind, body and spirit. All in perfect harmony……… except when it isn’t. When we feel out of sorts, or experiencing ‘dis-ease’ as complimentary therapists so love to put it…(personally I don’t like the term, finding it irritating), then it is our body trying to tell us something. Our subconscious mind is aware of what we need to pay attention to and manifests it in our body, but our conscious mind sadly is not paying attention. Lovers of Louise Hay, will be able to cite correlations…. eczema for unresolved anger, knee pain for fear of moving forward for example, throat issues for those afraid of having a voice.

In these instances it can be helpful or comforting, to to try and tune in to the body or that party of the body that is unwell or out of sorts. You can do this through meditating or also through hypnosis. The latter can be especially useful for finding out what your subconscious (via a part of your body) wants you to be aware of. Perhaps that ‘part’ is feeling unloved, or unprotected, or exposed or any number of feelings.

The next step, of course, is trying to acknowledge that feeling and provide a remedy or solution as required.. This can be really helpful in supporting your emotional and physical wellbeing. Of course, we would always recommend that you seek professional medical help where appropriate too.
