Hypnotherapy can also provide coping mechanisms to reduce your anxiety levels, including learning self hypnosis. Some of these effective coping mechanisms that you will be given will be unique and personal to you, depending on what causes your stress and your individual response to it.
In some instances where anxiety is so ingrained and perhaps a result of previous trauma, hypnotherapy can be used to lessen the impact of such trauma, useful in cases of post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
